I will take this opportunity to say "Hello" and "Welcome Back". My name is Myrtle St. Julien and I am the school counselor. I am a native Louisianan from the charming town of St. Martinville. I am married and have two boys-young men now-Conrad Jr. and Jason. My husband's job brought us to Missouri City in the late '80s. Both boys attended Quail Valley Elementary. I was active in the VIPS and also served on the PTO board. The job then transferred us back to Louisiana for ten years and in July 2001 brought us back here to the Houston area. I am very happy to be a part of the Quail Valley Elementary Faculty and family. I say family because I do consider this school to be like a second home to me. This is where my boys grew up. I have been both grateful and very impressed with the quality of their education. Therefore, it was easy for me to accept the position as counselor. I now can do for others what was done for my children when they were students here at QVE. It is also a wonderful experience to be working with the younger children. Prior to this, I had worked with the middle and high school level.
