Cold and flu season is here! The best way to prevent illness is to wash hands frequently, cover your cough, and dispose of used tissues properly. The latest recommendations advise if your child has fever of 100.5 they are to be kept home from school. They may return to campus when fever free for a 24 hour period without fever reducing medications. Symptoms of flu begin with fever and progress to a cough, sore throat, headache, and general fatigue. Remember to be watchful for any flu-like symptoms in your children, and thank you for helping us combat the flu season.
