English as Second Language (ESL) program provides intensive instruction in listening, speaking, reading, and writing to English language learners. The program uses the academic and cultural experience of the student as a platform to provide the appropriate instruction in English.
 
There are three ESL teachers at Palmer. Their names and grade levels are:
Lynn Hinshaw – Kindergarten
Cindy Chambless – Grade 1
Kayo Mitra – Grade 2-5
