The role of the Instructional Technology Specialist, Mrs. Dickson, has changed a bit from years past. Although she is often described as the computer teacher, her main role is to work with teachers to train and plan technology lessons for students.
Teachers plan each month with her and then sign up for times to use the lab to implement these lessons. Students no longer have a regular lab time, but are now engaging in more effective ways of integrating their classroom objectives with technology.
This year two students in 1st-5th grade are members of the GEEK SQUAD. These computer helpers assist in the computer lab and classroom.
 
Please help us purchase more technology by recycling your old print cartridges. We have a box in the front office as well as the computer lab for used cartridges either from home or work!
