The role of the Instructional Technology Specialist, Mrs. Dickson, has changed a bit from years past. Although she is often described as the computer teacher, her main role is to offer staff development to teachers and staff for the benefit of integrating technology into classroom curriculum. Our project based lab is used to help integrate these lessons for the entire class.
 
The computer lab houses 28 XP HP computers, a scanner, a laser color network printer along with a Smartboard-an interactive white board.
The school has two other Smartboards with a projector and computer that are shared throughout the school. We have one Senteo system that is used to "gain accurate and immediate insight into student learning that seamlessly integrates with SMART Notebook software".
