WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A MISSION GLEN VOLUNTEER?
-Related Document
By volunteering, the time and effort that you give to Mission Glen will benefit not only this year's students but also future students. By volunteering, you can expand the learning opportunities of all our students, provide individual assistance, and relieve the teachers of some non-instructional tasks such as making copies. It is also an excellent opportunity for you to serve our community. Anyone can be a volunteer and any amount of time is greatly appreciated. For the success of the volunteer program and for the protection of our children, we ask you to follow these simple guidelines: each person volunteering needs to complete the 2006/2007 Volunteer Opportunities Sheet (related document attached) and a Criminal History Authorization Form (related document attached). Fort Bend School District requires that a Criminal History Authorization form be completed in full and signed by the person volunteering on any school campus. All of this information is absolutely confidential. Your information will then be submitted to Jan Schiff, Partners in Education Coordinator (281-634-1112) at the FBISD Administration office for processing by FBISD Human Resources. Upon approval by FBISD, the volunteer will be notified of approval and the volunteer's name will then be referred to the teacher so they may call their volunteers to help. Thank you for your interest!
