Missouri City Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society is currently pursuing possible candidates for induction into the Cougar’s for Excellence Chapter. Selection for NJHS is a privilege, not a right. Students do not apply for membership; instead, they provide information to support their candidacy for membership.

Membership is only granted to those students who demonstrate outstanding performance in the following areas: academic performance (91 minimum GPA), leadership, service, citizenship (P’s and U’s are not permitted), and character.

Students who meet the academic criteria will be notified and given further instructions at that time.
