Lakeview School Store

Come on down to the school store! It's open every Monday. Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 7:30-7:50 in front of the Art Room. New items are arriving weekly. Parents--you may now purchase Viking Bucks for $1 each. They make great gifts!

Lakeview Choir

Members of the Lakeview Choir are to meet in the Music Room every Tues. and Thurs. after school for practice. Parents--Please pick your children up PROMPTLY at 5:00.

Lakeview recently received their Exemplary plaque celebrating the fine work on the 2009 TAKS test! Congratulations students and staff!

No Place for Hate

Lakeview Elementary is proud to announce that it continues to be named a No Place for Hate School by the Houston area ADL. Several activities throughout the school year promoting harmony among students qualified Lakeview for this honor.

DSP Goal 1: FBISD will implement strategies that result in students meeting high standards of achievement.
 
By May of 2010, 90% of ALL 5th grade students at LVE will meet the passing standard as measured by Science TAKS. (Emphasis on Hispanic, AA, and ED.)
 
By 2010, 90% of African American, Hispanic, and Economically Disadvantaged sub-groups at LVE will meet the passing standard as measured by MATH TAKS.
 
By 2010, 90% of Hispanic, African American and Economically Disadvantaged sub-groups (grades 3 and 4) at LVE will meet the passing standard as measured by READING TAKS.
 

 
DSP Goal 7: FBISD will foster character development of students and create a safe and healthy environment for all students.
