Welcome to Speech and Theatre Arts

Students are introduced to a variety of public speaking situations and engage in activities of theatre performance—both as actors and technicians. Students will be involved in story telling, debate, oral interpretation, duet acting, and monologues. Students will be taught expressive use of the body and voice as it relates to stage production and will have the opportunity to participate in speech competitions, one act plays, Reader’s Theatre, and experiment with puppetry.
