Welcome to Orchestra

Orchestra I (6th)
Beginning string orchestra provides the student with basic training in the proper care of stringed instruments, fundamentals of musicianship, and instrumental performance. Orchestra students may be required to purchase the appropriate instrument. Larger instruments such as cellos and basses are provided for classroom use. (Instruments may also be obtained through a rental/purchase agreement.)
 
Orchestra I

(Prerequisite: Orchestra I or approval
of orchestra director)
Orchestra II continues the development of instrumental musicianship. Leadership, responsibility, cooperation, self-discipline, and concentration are stressed. Orchestra students may be required to purchase the appropriate instrument. Larger instruments such as cellos and basses are provided for classroom use. (Personal instruments may also be obtained through a rental/purchase agreement.)
 
Orchestra III
(Prerequisite: Orchestra II or approval of orchestra director)
Orchestra III continues the development of instrumental musicianship. Leadership, responsibility, cooperation, self-discipline, and concentration are stressed. Orchestra students may be required to purchase the appropriate instrument. Larger instruments such as cellos and basses are provided for classroom use. (Personal instruments may also be obtained through a rental/purchase agreement.)
