The LOMS Guidance Program is based on individual, school and community needs and delivered through the direct service program components of guidance implemented by certified school counselors supporting the child's total educational program. The program assists students with developmental and emotional issues and provides resources for helping students achieve optimum benefit from their educational program. Our guidance program is a developmental, educational program responsible for assisting students to acquire knowledge and skills needed to develop and maintain their self esteem, motivation to achieve, decision-making and problem- solving skills, interpersonal effectiveness, communication skills, cross-cultural effectiveness and responsible behavior. The program also assists students in facing issues and resolving problems which promotes healthy development. Parental involvement is essential to students' successful educational and career plans.
