Lantern Lane Elementary has a computer lab of 25 Windows XP machines. The programs that the students will be using this year include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Kid Pix, Works and Kidspiration between many others.
Students will be incorporating technical skills to prepare them for future challenges inside and outside the classroom. Multimedia tools such as digital cameras, smartboards and presentation software will help students in the creation of their products. Internet safety and security in the World Wide Web are topics that we will discuss and incorporate to increase a safe journey into the cyberspace.
