PLAN Test Registration
|
|
9, 10,& 11th Graders: PLAN Test Registration will be from Nov 30th to Dec 4th in the College Room during all lunches.
PLAN is a great way to prepare for the ACT, know if you are on track for college, find out academic strengths and areas of improvement, find career matches, and connects you with colleges of interest.
The fee is $20.
Test Date = Saturday, December 12th, 2009

Underclassman Counselor Visits Coming Soon:

The counselors will be meeting with 9th, 10th & 11th grade students during their English classes in mid-November. Topics to be discussed include: credits, graduation plan, college prep, testing and career assessments. A letter will be mailed to parents\guardians inviting them to attend. 9th grade students will meet on November 16 & 17, 2009; 10th grade students will meet on November 18th & 19th; and 11th grade students will meet on November 20th & 23rd. Meeting times on those dates will be determined by the student’s English class period.

HHS Late Work Policy
|

Student work is to be turned in at the appropriate class time on the day it is due. Students who do not turn in class work in the core classes, as assigned by the teacher, will be assigned to ZAP to complete work. Failure to attend will result in parent / assistant principal conference and possible disciplinary action. Student work turned in after the designated time is considered late. Late work that is turned in by the next time the class meets may receive a maximum grade of 80%. Student work turned in any subsequent day after the next class meeting may receive a maximum grade of a 50%. No late work will be accepted after three (3) days before any grading cycle: progress report, or nine-week cycle grade.

SAT \ ACT \AP Test Results
Please make sure that when you sign up for your SAT \ ACT \AP Test to include your college(s) on your form for your scores to be sent directly to them. NCAA will NO LONGER accept scores from the back of your transcript as in the past. Also, due to our new computerized transcript system, colleges will not accept scanned items.
Therefore, you MUST request that your scores be sent directly to your college of choice.
