Welcome to Fourth Grade

Welcome to 4th grade at HE. Readers and writers reign in 4th grade. Read for fun on a daily basis in order to become a successful student. Add similies, metaphors, and onomatopoeia to your compositions, reports, and journals so your writing comes alive. Become a math wizard at problem solving, estimating, algebra, geometry, and computation. Experiment with food chemistry, wire and decorate a room in a house and learn to care for a variety of animals in science. Get to know your state, its government, customs, history, and cultural celebrations. At the end of every day 4th graders express surprise that 3:15 has arrived. They have been so engaged in learning that time flies.
