My name is Cyndi Salazar, and this is my second year as the Campus Improvement Specialist (CIS) for Hodges Bend Middle School. Prior to becoming a CIS, I was a 504 Reading Specialist for two years at HBMS. I was also a Reading Specialist for 5 years on the elementary level and taught at the elementary level for 10 years. My educational background includes a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, a Master's in Reading and Language Arts, and a Master's in Administration and Supervision. I recently obtained my Principal's Certificate. I have been a proud resident of Fort Bend County for 23 years. I have been married for 23 years and we have been blessed with 3 children. My oldest son is a freshman in college, my second son is a sophmore at Austin HS, and my daughter is a 3rd grader at Walker Station El. My hobbies include reading, traveling, and home repair. I am thrilled to be a part of the collaboration process as we work towards a campus goal of becoming a Recognized campus. My role includes analyzing the data as it relates to HBMS, to individual student achievement, and the overall improvement of instruction. I also serve as a member of the school's continuous improvement leadership team.
