This student society is a local chapter of the National Honor Academic Organization that is sponsored by the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Students selected for membership are expected to demonstrate qualities of scholarship, service, leadership, citizenship, and character. To be selected into the NJHS a student must have an overall average of 93 in four core academic classes (Math, ELA, Science & Social Studies) from the first semester of 7th grade forward.
