On Thursday, August 19, 2010, one of our very special 8th graders, Jordan Allen, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He is currently undergoing treatment at MD Anderson. An account at Amegy bank has been opened to assist the family with medical expenses. The account number is 53207978 and is under the name of Jordan Allen's Fund. Should you feel inclined to do so you may deposit funds directly into the account.

The FSMS Band will be hosting the 2nd Annual Community Bash on Saturday, September 11th. The evening will start with a catered dinner from 5:30-6:30 p.m. consisting of a hamburger, veggie burger or hot dog plate and a performance by the FSMS Band. At 6:00 p.m. the fun will move outdoors where there will be an inflatable obstacle course, bungee run and joust, basketball toss, bouncy house, game truck and laser tag. This event is for the entire FSMS Community and not just band students. Tickets will be on sale during lunches starting on Tuesday of this week. Meal and Unlimited Games is $15, Meal Only is $8 and Unlimited Games Only is $10. We hope that everyone will make plans to attend this evening of food and fun for the FSMS Community.
