ESL

The ESL program has been developed to give students help in speaking, reading and writing English by a trained ESL teacher. The goal is to advance students’ English skills so that they can be successful in an all English curriculum. Instruction is provided in a variety of ways through the use of the following personnel:
 
· ESL Specialist—pull-out and/or consulting teacher
 
· ESL teacher—An ESL certified teacher serves native English speakers and ESL speakers in a general education classroom.
