Auditions will be held September 8th-September 11th before school from 7:25am-7:55am. Students may come any day and will be asked to come in groups of 3-4 (teacher picks the grouping) and sing the school song which will be learned in class as well as pitch and rhythm exercises. They do NOT need to have prepared a song.
 
There will be two Viking choirs this year. One will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:25-7:55am and will be made up of 3rd and 4th graders. And one will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays before school from 7:25-7:55am and will be made up of 5th graders.
 
The first Friday of the month both choirs will rehearse before school from 7:25am-7:55am.
 
Both choirs will be performing at the International Festival in Sugar Land Town Square and at our annual Holiday Tour in Dec.
 
Due to the performance focus of these groups, attendance at rehearsals and performances is required in order to gain admittance to the end of year party. Academic and behavioral excellence is expected in all the pursuits of choir members. As this group often represents our school to the community, we want to always have our best showing!
