The library is open every day from 7:30-3:00. We have scheduled classes as a part of the VIC rotation and every class comes in once a week. Students may come into the library between 7:30-7:50 any day.
 
Bluebonnet books are 20 of the best new books picked by teachers and librarian in Texas. Students grades 3-5 read the books, students who read 5 or more books get to vote on their favorite, we announce our Dulles winner and look forward to the state winner announced in Feb.
 
Grades 2-5 may participate in Reading Counts, students may take tests on the computer about books they have read.
Students receive prizes at certain point levels.
 
Texas Readers Club includes grades 1-5, children read and report on books, the number depends on their grade level. Book reports are due May 14, 2010. Children who finish their reports will get a certificate as well as be invited to a special performance.
 
We have two book fairs each year, our fall book fair will be in Oct. check the calendar for dates and times. Our spring book fair will be in March.
