Kindergarten is catching the wave of the future…..
 
We started our year by getting to know our new friends in our classrooms. Then we dove into “Reading Workshop” by reading books independently or with a partner. We are sharing our favorite parts of our books and making connections. We began “Writing Workshop” by drawing a picture, labeling and sharing with a friend.
 
In Science, we are learning about our five senses and building vocabulary to share ideas. Math has been very exciting because we are using our Smartboards and ELMO’s to introduce topics like sorting, classifying, and correct use of position words. Thank you, PTA for providing those wonderful tools.
