TBEC Honor Roll is the most prestigious award for sustained, academic excellence in Texas. It recognizes schools that have demonstrated three years of consistent, high performance in all subjects compared to other schools serving similar student populations.

House Bill 55, set to take effect on Sept. 1, prohibits drivers from using a wireless communication device while operating a vehicle within a school crossing zone. The law, an amendment of Texas Transportation Code, section 545.425, assesses a fine of up to $200 per violation.
