Regular-sunny day all students go home normal way.
Rainy Day-students may change their transportation home according to what parents marked on information sheet. This mostly affects walkers who change to car riders.
Severe Weather-tornado watch, or tornado warning is issued walkers may not be released or if until lightening stops for an interval of time, Students may change their transportation home according to what parents marked on information sheet.

Information for those parents who drive to CSE to pick up their child(ren).

Anytime your child is absent, you must send a note to the school with an explanation for the absence. This is a requirement from the state government. Thank you for your cooperation.

2. Childs Social Security Card
- If the child does not have a social security card then the Childs Passport (coming from out of the country)
3. Childs Immunization Record (English)
(Will be verified by the clinic nurse)
 
Proof of Residence: (All three items listed below)
1. Complete Deed of Trust or Mortgage Stmt
OR if leasing
Complete Lease Agreement
 
2. And current utility bill (electric, water or gas)
 
3. Parent/guardian Texas drivers license or picture ID with current address

DSP Goal 1: FBISD will implement strategies that result in students meeting high standards of achievement.
 
The percentage of grade 5 scoring exemplary in science will increase from 94% to 95% by the end of 2009 – 2010 as measured by TAKS administered in April 2010.
 
The number students in grade 4 scoring a four in writing will increase from 11 to 25 by the end of 2009 – 2010 as measured by TAKS administered in February 2010.
 

 
DSP Goal 2: FBISD will foster partnerships with the community to support our students and school system.
 
The number of volunteer hours will increase from 9873 to 12,341 (an increase of 25%) by the end of the year as measured by parents signing in and out managed by Cornerstone Elementary School’s PTA.
