Welcome to Art

Art I: This course is designed to enable students to develop their problem-solving and creative thinking skills while teaching them to perceive the world around them, interpret emotion through a variety of artistic media, and evaluate their own art work as well as the work of other artists.

Art II: Students explore basic elements of art and principals of design using a variety of media and techniques. Art appreciation and art history are basic to the course.

Art III: (Prerequisite: Art II) Students develop more advanced techniques using a variety of media and techniques. Originality of work and creativity are stressed. Art appreciation and art history are basic to the course.
