Welcome to First Grade

First grade is such an exciting year! Learning to read and write are the most important skills a student can achieve. Here at Colony Bend, we encourage higher level learning, individualism and long lasting friendships. Having a risk free environment is a priority to each first grade teacher. We want all students to come prepared for a challenging adventure. We will learn many strategies on how to read, how to write and how to do math (Hey, that’s the 3R’s of education!)
