*Basic United States geography (regions of the US)
*United States history from Colonial America through recent times
*Structure of US government
Science:
*Land and Water/Erosion and landforms
- effects of moving water on land and effects of land on movement of water
*Ecosystems/Plants, animals, biomes, adaptations
- discover ecosystems as a community of organisms and its interaction with the environment
*Microworlds
- study of the microscope; observations of living and non-living things
*Energy and Sound
- evaluate different forms of energy to determine use and relevance
*Astronomy
