Students at Colony Bend Elementary are very fortunate to have a variety of technology available to them. Within their classroom, there is at least one computer, which is hooked to a television, for teaching purposes. The teachers use the computer as a teaching tool, as well as for student use. We have two computer labs with a brand new class set of computers in each.
 
I am the ITS, Holly Plost. This will be my 14th year in the role of an elementary Instructional Technology Specialist. I have taught most grades at elementary and was also an elementary math specialist for approximately 10 years.
 
I will be on campus every other week. On the weeks that I am not at CBE, I will be working at my other campus, Lexington Creek. During the weeks that I am on campus, I will teach classes, work with teachers to integrate technology into their lessons as well as conduct training sessions for teachers. I am looking forward to working with both the students and the staff of CBE again this year!
 
A special congratulations to our 5th graders last year--they had the highest technology scores in the district on our technology district assessment in May!
