The PTO-Sponsored Winter Social will be on Friday, December 11, 2009. The 6th Grade Winter Social will run from 4:30pm until 6:00pm, and the 7th/8th Grade Winter Social will run from 7:00pm until 8:30pm. Both events are at Baines. Sixth grade students who purchase a ticket to attend will remain at school prior to the event--they will be supervised in the large gym while bus dismissal is completed and as last-minute preparations are made in the commons. Sixth grade students must have a ride to pick them up promptly at 6:00pm. All seventh and eighth grade students must go home, and return to school when it is time for their event, arriving no earlier than 6:45pm. Seventh and eighth graders must have a ride to pick them up promptly at 8:30pm. In order for students to attend the Winter Social, they must adhere to the following:
Students receiving any type of office referral (not teacher-assigned consequences) starting on Monday, November 16th, through the date of the Winter Social (Dec. 11th) will be prohibited from attending the Winter Social.
Tickets will be on sale during lunches starting Wednesday, Dec. 2nd through Wednesday, Dec. 9th, as they will not be sold at the door. Tickets are $5.00, and students must have their student ID with them in order to purchase a ticket. If they need a replacement ID, they may purchase one from Mrs. Nagel for $5.00.
These guidelines were communicated to all students during the morning announcements on Friday, November 13th.
