Leaving England at the age of four, my life continues to be a very exciting adventure; particularly the past 21 years, which were spent in education at F.B.I.S.D. Of these 21 years, I taught fourth grade at TWE for 13 years; seventh grade at FSMS for two years, and this is my seventh year at Austin Parkway Elementary.
 
Setting high expectations for all students is my ultimate goal and challenge, for I know that all students can learn when taught in a positive and caring environment. I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment while allowing students to take risks and encourage them to learn from their mistakes. In an ever changing world, lifelong learning is a commitment I request from all staff members. Continually working collaboratively with teachers and students to empower them to become insightful leaders and learners, undergirds our efforts to stimulate them to act with compassion, understanding and fairness toward each other and toward their environment.
 
Thank you for permitting me to continue my adventure with you here at Austin Parkway Elementary and for trusting me to help your child acquire knowledge, develop skills and build character so that they will lead productive, fulfilling and moral lives. On a more personal note, I have been married for nine years. My husband and I share a beautiful daughter named Madison who will be 8 in December. She is our pride and joy. We cherish every moment that we share with her.
