Technical Education Center News

Students who wish to attend the Technical Education Center must apply. To apply for a class at the Technical Education Center, students must fill out an application and submit it to the TEC. They can get an application at the TEC website Click on the Related Documents below for the link. The staff will look at the applicants’ attendance, discipline and transcript. The instructor of the course will then interview the applicants.

DSP Goal 1: FBISD will implement strategies that result in students meeting high standards of achievement.
 
The Technical Education Center will increase industry certification by 1% before June 5, 2010. The Technical Education Center will increase the number of students earning one or more industry certifications from 94% to 96% by June 5, 2010.
 
DSP Goal 7: FBISD will foster character development of students and create a safe and healthy environment for all students.
 
Students participating in state affiliated organizations will increase by 1% before February 2010.
 
The Technical Education Center will become a “No Place For Hate” school in 2010.
 
The Technical Education center will participate in and implement the CHAMPS philosophy during the 09-10 school years.
