Welcome Explorers! The mission of the SWE library is to provide a current and diverse collection, provide open access, and collaborate with teachers in order to create life-long learners who love to read.

All students in grades K-5 have a 45-minute library class every fourth day as part of the outclass rotation with Art, Music and PE. Books are checked out for a one-week period. There are no fines, but books must be returned in order to check out more books.
 
The SWE Library is a busy place and we are so excited about all the wonderful activities we get to share with you.
 
Some of our activities: Texas Readers Club, Bluebonnet Book Reading, VISA Club, visiting authors and storytellers, and book fairs.
