The library is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
 

The QVMS Library is literally at the center of our school, and our desire is for it to be a warm, welcoming place where students learn the skills they need to find, evaluate, and utilize information and technology effectively and where they can find books and other media that will extend their learning, enrich their lives, and inspire their imaginations. Our goal is that the programs and services we offer will encourage students to become life-long readers, learners, and library patrons.
 
This is my second year as librarian at QVMS. Previously I was a high school English teacher for twelve years, and most of those years have been spent in Fort Bend ISD. I attended QVMS myself (many years ago) and I'm proud to be a part of the QVMS family.
 
To search our online catalog, click on Resources, Library Catalogs, and then choose QVMS Library Catalog.
 
Library Catalogs also contains a link for you and your student to access the Fort Bend ISD electronic resources, including NetTrekker, a safe and reliable search engine, and a variety of subscription databases. These resources are also available via the web at http://fortbendisd.com/library.
 
A handout with logins and passwords for home use can be obtained in the library.
