Leading Edge Technology

Each classroom has at least one multi-media computer with Windows XP, a color printer, 36" TV hung from the ceiling for viewing both the computer image and distributive video.
Our classroom computers are only 2 years old.

Fifth grade students broadcast the morning news live each morning from a studio within the school.
These students write the script, create the slides to use for transitions between camera shots, prepare music and adjust the volume projected through microphones.

The computer lab holds 27 2000 XP multimedia computers and one with video editing software, a scanner, and a network color printer. We also have several Smartboards in the building.
All students have access to our computer lab.

We thank the PTO for its continuous support of technology at Palmer Elementary.
