FBISD voters approve $428,000,000 bond referendum!

Voters in Fort Bend ISD passed the district's $428 million bond referendum on Nov. 6. With 91 (100%) of the precincts reporting, Fort Bend County Elections showed that 10,587 (65.07%) voted in favor of the bond, and 5,683 (34.93%) voted against the bond.

Voter approval of the $428,000,000 Bond Referendum will enable the district to move forward in building new campuses to address student growth and provide relief to severely overcrowded campuses. It will also allow the district to take care of major capital improvements and technology and security upgrades at campuses throughout the district, as well as purchase new school buses to support growth and replace aging vehicles.
