Risk Management
Welcome to the Fort Bend ISD Risk Management Department
website. The Risk Management Department stands ready
to assist all Departments in their efforts to effectively
identify, assess, reduce and manage risk.
The Fort Bend ISD Risk Management Department subscribes
to the Risk and Insurance Management Society’s
(RIMS) Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) philosophy.
The ERM Model of Risk Management is a top-down approach
to Risk Management, placing value on the importance
of each and every individual and their role in the success
of the overall Risk Management Program within an organization.
It is a unifying approach which seeks to educate and
incorporate all aspects of the organization into the
Risk Management function.
