All of the campuses in the Fort Bend ISD offer a comprehensive system
of “Child Find” activities. These activities are designed
to identify all individuals ages 3 – 21 who may or may not
be in school and who have a disability as defined in the Individuals
with Disabilities Education Act of 2004. These activities include,
but are not limited to:
- Provide public awareness to inform citizens of educational opportunities
available to individuals with disabilities in the form of brochures
- Place posters at Fort Bend ISD campuses and in private schools.
- Newspaper announcements
- Fort Bend ISD website
- Early childhood screenings
